HEY GANG!
We have an announcement to make.
Our Chief-Cook-and-Bottle-Washer is lending himself leave, for LENT. So a few of us have gotten together and cooked up a plan.
Over the next 40 days, we’ll be introducing the work of others among us here at NEVERMORE. If we get the chance, we’ll even bring in guest authors from outside our collective, too.
First off, we’ll be publishing a six part series entitled “DEEP RESISTANCE” by one of our newer contributors,
, who’s been with us since October last year. Installments will appear on a weekly basis. We’ll also feature a few posts by Nevermore co-founder Paul Cudenec, as well as a few by our regular contributors
and . And we’ll finish publishing the remainder of Jordan Henderson’s series on “VACCINE EVANGELISTS, APOSTATES AND APOLOGISTS.”Just a reminder, it’s still Black History Month. We already have a couple pieces published in this category. One of them—by singer/songwriter/human rights activist David Rovics—tells a story everyone should know about… the time of the greatest multiracial uprising in American history: the Battle of Blair Mountain.
Check it out if you haven’t already, and you may enjoy listening to Rovics’ epic song while you’re at it.
Bear in mind that we’re accepting submissions on black history during the rest of this month. Along those lines, we’ll be featuring an article on African origins of “cool.”
STAY TUNED!
Ok. Thanks for the offer. I'm not personally familiar with the magazine, but maybe someone else in our team is. Specific topic?
Check out Neenah Payne on Activist Post. She has dozens of articles on “black” history, a lot are of the more ancient history. The ones about the Moors are especially fascinating. There might be an essay nugget in there.
