Canada and the U.S. are pressuring Mexico to allow GMO corn because of "the Science"
A guest post by Derrick Broze
The article you are about to read was written by my friend Derrick Broze, and is about the recent announcement that Mexico is fighting back against the attempts of the U.S. and Canada to force Mexico to allow GMO corn.
If you want to see the blatant disrespect that both the U.S. and Canada continues to have for Mexico, one need look no further than the fact that their NAFTA are still trying to coerce and force them to accept something that is basically sacrilege.
Of course, your average newsreader will have no idea how disrespectful this is, because they don’t understand the importance of corn in Mexican culture.
There is a saying in Mexico that “Sin Maiz, No Hay Pais”, which means “Without corn, there is no country”.
According to the Popul Vuh, which contains a version of the Mayan creation story, human beings were made from corn. If you compare the human genome to that of corn, you will be amazed by how genetically similar we are.
It’s not just the Maya who revere corn, though. Corn is like a religion throughout Mexico, and it’s not hard to understand why.
I could go on and on about the miracle of maize, but I have already done so elsewhere. I refer you to a post called “Humanity’s Greatest Invention”, which is a chapter of my non-fiction novel The Motorcycle Diaries.
In his article, Derrick writes:
Officials with the US and Canadian governments continue to claim that Mexico’s decisions to ban or restrict the import of GMO corn are not “based on science”.
That’s right. The people who insist that viruses exist, despite the total lack of any proof, want Mexicans to bend their knees, kneel down, and kiss the ring of science. It’s infuriating.
I cannot possibly express my rage and contempt for “the Science” through rational argument, so I think I’m going to have start a grindcore band.
For now, you can listen to this song if you want to know how I feel about the scumfucks who use “the Science” to shove shit that people don’t want down their throats.
The good news is that Mexican president AMLO ain’t having it, and just slapped a 50% tariff on white corn.
I have a question for the people who are of the opinion that all the governments of the world are beholden to globalist puppet-masters - how do you explain AMLO?
You’d have to perform some extreme mental contortion to see him as anything other than a die-hard Mexican nationalist, who, by the way, definitely seems to have anarchist sympathies.
If you watch the following video, in which AMLO explains that the reason that Mexico will not send arms to Ukraine is because “we are pacifists”, you will notice that behind the podium is an image of Ricardo Flores Magon, the anarchist hero of the Mexican revolution.
Throughout 2022, he appeared in front in the image of Magon, who may the best exemplar of anarchist virtue in all of human history.
Clearly, AMLO is an admirer of Ricardo Flores Magon, and there’s no way he doesn’t know that Magon was a die-hard anarchist.
Will someone please help me figure out how to feel about this? I’m confused.
I’ll be honest. I don’t like rules, but I do have certain ones I live by. One of them is “Never Trust a Politician”.
That said, there are exceptions to every rule, including that one. I can’t hate AMLO, because he’s the most prominent person in the world who has the balls to stand up to “the Science”.
If you didn’t know, AMLO is the only world leader who will admit to believing in elves, which he refers to by the Mayan term “aluxes”.
(By the way, my mom has advised me against calling Aluxes “leprechauns”, because there are many kinds of fairy folk, and I shouldn’t assume that Aluxes and leprechauns are synonymous terms. In my defence, I don’t think that the fairies have gone woke, but nevertheless, I agree with her that “elves” is a more neutral term.)
In the words of AMLO: “If Aluxes didn’t exist, it would be necessary to invent them”.
Amen to that, and praise be to the Strophariad that the world has advanced to the point where a major world leader can speak the truth about elves without the fear of running afoul of the mockers and scoffers who only believe in things that “the Science” allows them to, such as non-living entities called viruses, which can’t die but can reproduce.
This is proof that the long-overdue paradigm shift necessitated by quantum physics is well-underway, and that believing in elves is no longer something that intellectuals need to keep to themselves. Terence McKenna would be over the moon.
The world’s most popular leader also reassured his people that they needn’t worry about COVID by showing off his amulet.
Can you imagine if everyone did that?
Anyway, kudos to Derrick for writing a banging article, and I hope that people pay attention to this issue.
The fact of the matter is that Monsanto’s rebranding by Bayer was hugely successful, as evidenced by the fact that first-world Leftists rarely talk about GMOs anymore.
Oh yeah, and one last thing:
FUCK SCIENCE.
Mexico Announces 50% Tariff on White Corn Imports as Canada Joins US in Fight Over GMOs
The United States and Canada continue their campaign to pressure Mexico to accept Genetically Engineered corn without restriction.

Mexico’s battle for food sovereignty took another step forward over the weekend as President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced a 50% tariff on white corn imports.
López Obrador, also known as AMLO, said the move was part of an effort to boost national production of corn and prevent the import of genetically modified corn. The tariff will be in place until the end of 2023, according to the Associated Press.
The move is the latest in a trade battle between Mexico and the United States with the majority of Mexico’s white corn imports coming from the US and South Africa. Under AMLO, the Mexican government has taken steps to eliminate GMO corn for human consumption and the banning of the cancer-linked pesticide glyphosate.
The US believes Mexico’s recent efforts to ban imports of US grown GMO corn will hurt farmers and run afoul of the US-Mexico-Canada “free trade” agreement. In early June, the US government announced they were seeking official dispute resolution with Mexico for their recent efforts to ban GMO corn. US Trade Representative Katherine Tai requested dispute settlement consultations with Mexico under the USMCA.
A panel will have six months to study the complaint and release their findings. If Mexico is found to have violated the agreement there could be economic sanctions.
Bloomberg recently reported that Canada is now joining the US government’s efforts to pressure Mexico to accept GMO corn without restrictions of any kind.
“Canada shares the concerns of the US that Mexico’s measures are not scientifically supported and have the potential to unnecessarily disrupt trade in the North American market,” Trade Minister Mary Ng and Agriculture Minister Marie-Claude Bibeau said in a statement.
The Canadian Trade and Agriculture Ministers will participate as a 3rd party in the dispute settlement consultations initiated by the US government. Bloomberg notes that while Canada is not a major corn exporter, it is one of the world’s biggest producers and exporters of canola, the vast majority of which is genetically engineered. According to “people familiar with the matter”, Canadian officials have expressed concern about prohibitions on food produced using genetic engineering and biotechnology.
When it comes to the “why” behind the Mexican government’s action, look no further than the rise of childhood obesity and diabetes in Mexico over the last decades. Consortium News reports:
“Mexico has displaced the United States as the world leader in childhood obesity as diets rich in native corn and other traditional foods have been replaced by ultra-processed foods and beverages high in sugar, salt, and fats.
Researchers found that since the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was enacted in 1994, the United States has been “exporting obesity.”
The López Obrador government recently stood up to the powerful food and beverage industry to mandate stark warning labels on foods high in those unhealthy ingredients. Its restrictions on GM corn and glyphosate flow from the same commitment to public health.
We documented that in 17 of the 28 years since NAFTA took effect, the United States has exported corn, wheat, rice, and other staple crops at prices below what it cost to produce them.
That is an unfair trade practice known as agricultural dumping, and it springs from chronic overproduction of such products in that country’s heavily industrialized agriculture.”
Officials with the US and Canadian governments continue to claim that Mexico’s decisions to ban or restrict the import of GMO corn are not “based on science”. In March of this year Mexico’s National Council for Science and Technology (CONACYT) hosted an online webinar laying out the science behind their decision.
CONACYT, the Mexican government’s senior science department, organized several presentations from Mexican scientists detailing the health concerns surrounding GM food and glyphosate, which is typically sprayed on GM corn produced by Bayer, formerly Monsanto.
For the Mexican farmers who have been cultivating corn for an estimated 8,000 years, GM corn represents a significant threat. GM corn can spread via the birds, bees, and wind, resulting in cross-pollination between traditional crops and GM versions.
During his presentation, Alejandro Espinoza Calderón, director of Mexico’s biosecurity agency Intersecretarial Commission for Biosafety and Genetically Modified Organisms (Cibiogem), noted that,
“Mexico has a rich store of exceptionally healthy varieties of corn. It is alarming to find that 90 percent of tortillas were shown to have traces of both glyphosate and transgenics. The biosecurity of Mexico is of utmost importance.”
National University biologist Ana Laura Wegier Briuolo, a biologist at Mexico’s National University made it clear that “without healthy corn we cannot have healthy people.”
The pressure campaign from the US and Canada represent yet another attempt at colonizing the food supply by targeting a nation with a rich history of cultivation of corn. Just as the United Nations ignores the voices of indigenous people and collaborates with globalist organizations like the Rockefeller Foundation to control the food supply, the US and Canada ignore the sovereignty of the Mexican people as they seek to infest Mexico with GMO corn.
The leaders of these nations do not care about the potential loss — not only financial loss, but cultural — that would come with the introduction of GMO corn in Mexico.
You mean like THE SCIENCE that can't figure out why healthy people are kicking off this mortal coil?
Miracles happen very often. The miracles associated with the medallion of Mother Mary are well documented.
