Two weeks ago, we at Nevermore Media were informed that our much-loved founder, Crow Qu’Appelle (though he would disdain any such title and rightfully point out that many others were involved), had sustained a serious injury.
We had hoped that Crow himself would be up and kicking against the pricks relatively soon and he could tell y’all about it himself. However, it has proven to be a serious injury indeed.
Having discussed the situation internally, and having consulted with his family, it was decided that Crow would want his readership updated on the situation.
We will leave the nitty gritty details for him to go into at a future date, but the basic summary, as we understand it, is as follows: on June 10th Crow sustained a serious injury due to an accident; he has been kept medically unconscious for at least much of the past two weeks, he has had surgery and is still receiving extensive treatment, his situation is still very serious, but we have been informed of no major setbacks and we have heard of continued gradual improvement, though the final outcome is still not clear.
We believe that Crow, his new wife (who is expecting with their child), and other immediate family would appreciate your thoughts, intentions, and prayers.
In the interim, Nevermore will continue to publish new essays and reflections by other regular and guest contributors (though probably without the same verve that Crow brings to things).
We will update the readership as any new significant details emerge.

Keep the prayers coming - he is stable and breathing on his own! He will be delighted to know Nevermore is continuing…
The world needs Crow (not to speak of his friends and family!). I too have been sending positive energy for his recovery. Glad to hear the signs are looking better now! Fingers crossed.
