Crow (Update 7/14/25)
A message on the messanger
Hello Nevermorons!
Continued thanks for the vibes, prayers, well wishes, and financial support for Crow and his family (if you’re not sure what this is about, look back over the Crow update posts over the past month regarding his serious accident and injury).
We have a report from his family that he has shown really good improvement over the past week or so. At last report, he was recognizing voices but not speaking. Now he is responding with simple things like ‘yeah’ and ‘the streets are ours’ (wait, maybe not that last one).
He is enjoying listening to music his family plays for him and his dexterity is good, manipulating various sorts of fidget spinners.
He is not able to stand or walk, but his family is hoping physical therapy is not too far off.
It will certainly be a long recovery process, but we at Nevermore are thankful for the positive update. Very reassuring given it has been over a month since his accident.
Crow’s mom is down in Cheron, Mexico, as today is the due date for his wife Alexia to deliver their baby (no more update on that but hopefully will have good news to report soon).
Please keep the vibes, prayers, and well-wishing coming- they apparently help!
Also, if anyone is so inclined the link to provide financial support to Crow, wife, and soon to be baby Crow while he goes through his recovery (he was up in Canada to fight forest fires when the accident occurred, which is the hard work he has done over past summers to make ends meet) is below.
A Crow flavored challenge: if you were a subscriber and Crow ever called you an F’er or something along those lines (who does that really?), come on, you have to appreciate engagement like that! Chip in. You can’t help but love Crow, even when he’s pulling an attitude on ya.
Link to make whatever contribution you might feel called to make. Thus far there are 83 donations- that’s a community effort!
