Here is a comment I posted on Bad Cattitude today ( August 20….his essay on Animal Farm) that gives a snapshot of the Big Beautiful Club that we are not a part of…..notice that going back to 2002 the plan was already in motion….see what they really think of democracy and how they are discussing global governance and the apparent disdain of the “expert” elite class of human rights as compared to the world problems they profess to be fixing on our behalf….because we are too dumb and what is the point of democracy anyhow…what is needed in their view is a macro approach, dare I say a top down approach dictated by them?!

Read this on MAA’s stack two weeks ago and just did so again. This is a most excellent analysis. As for the AI “solution,” um, yeah, that shit will be fun.
It's a club alright, but it is anything but "beautiful".
That Carlin used that word to describe it, should probably sound alarm bells about who he actually was. Comics at that level spend months if not years honing their acts. No words are misplaced... Like every pause and inflection: Every single one of their words has a function/purpose.
I appreciate your observations, TriTorch, but Carlin didn't use "Beautiful." That was my ironic twist of phrasing as a satirical underscoring of the fact that Trump is part of that Big Club, despite what the MAGAheads may have once thought.
