SHAME DAY IS A PSY OP! (Crow Qu'appelle Interviewed on the Grimerica Podcast)
Why Canada wants you to focus on #EveryChildMatters instead of #LandBack.
The Shame Day Psy-Op
Recently, I appeared on the Grimerica podcast to share my theory about Canada’s new statutory holiday, which commemorates Canada’s historic crimes against indigneous peoples.
This isn’t a popular belief, but in my opinion it is a psy op meant to take control of the narrative around residential schools, and to accomplish several propaganda goals simultaneously.
I have previously written two posts about Shame Day. In the first, I write:
In my humble opinion, the Canadian state is not truly interested in either truth or reconciliation. I believe that it has ulterior motives…
Let me state up from that I’m not against Truth and Reconciliation Day, however. Far from it. The history of Canada is shameful, far be it from me to deny that. When I call the new holiday Shame Day, it’s not to make fun of it. I’m just calling a spade a spade.
What I’m against is the government controlling the narrative around its own crimes against humanity, and its efforts to promote a new national mythos based on a fantasy in which Canada’s evil deeds are all in the past.
In the second, I question what the goals of this psy op are, writing :
I think that getting people to focus on the unmarked graves is an exercise is misdirection.
What’s more, THERE ARE REAL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE USE OF GROUND-PENETRATING RADAR TECHNOLOGY.
There seems to be an active debate about the legitimacy of the methods used to discover unmarked graves. In many cases, the CBC has reported the “discovery” of unmarked graves that haven’t actually been exhumed. In other words, no human remains have actually been found.
Basically, government-funded archaeologists are using ground-penetrating radar technology to identify “suspected unmarked graves”.
Now, I am certainly not a residential school denialist, but I don’t trust the government, or archeologists, or the CBC. It sure seems to me like something fishy is going on.
I’ll just say it: I think the governement of Canada is pulling shenanigans in order to take control of the narrative around its own crimes against humanity.
SHAME DAY IS A PSY OP!
To be honest, I have more to say about Shame Day, but given that most of my readership aren’t even Canadian, I think I’ll give it a rest until next year. For now, I’ll simply say the one takeaway from all of this - SHAME DAY IS A PSY OP!
For now, I invite those of you who are interested in this subject to check out the interview I did with the awesome folks over at Grimerica. They do amazing work and I highly recommend checking them out!
