I like the sentiment, but I’m not so sure things are back to how they were pre-covid in Canada, no? Covid has further ripped apart any sense of social cohesion we had — I’ve never seen more fragmentation, division, and hostility as I do now, and much of this can be traced back to covid. People are *still* masking, still fearful, still trashing “anti-vaxxers”.
I think it’s changed us in irreparable ways and it’s primed us in a way that makes us more amenable to future fear-campaigns (bird flu, measles, etc). In terms of government policies/projects, things like ArriveCan is *still* around, they just repurposed it. Many businesses still haven’t recovered. Industries are still blaming covid for lack of personnel. Shelters are still dealing with the influx of surrendered covid pets. Taxpayers will be footing the bill for covid bailouts for years. Even on social media you still can’t say “covid” without getting demonetized. I think many of us have forgotten how much it really has impacted us.
There also continues to be an influx of sudden deaths via cardiac arrests, blood clots, etc. It’s really too bad we’re not gathering this type of data on a large scale so we can actually see what’s going on, especially in people who’ve had no previous health issues.
As you know I’m naturally more cynical, but man, it really feels like a different world, or maybe more accurately, Canadians have just shown who they really were the whole time. And what a disappointment we are. I definitely still have bad feelings about the whole thing. Some might say “move on” but I don’t think I’m there yet. I also don’t want to hold onto those bad feelings. In due time!
I think the people who distrust the state with every bone in their body has increased... but in the Canada context, millions of people just fell for an election show in which Carney managed to run against Trump... even though Trump wasn't running. A truly shocking display of stupidity.
Yes! And the funny thing was that the minute she left our house, as my other cousin drove her to the airport, she started again in the car. Unfortunately the Trump-swear box was left in the house, so there was no other option but to deport her back to Canada…
You make some strong points... Keep in mind I was in Mexico until recently, so I could be pretty oblivious to a lot of lingering COVID effects that are just beneath the surface. I've been mostly out in the bush... but I was in Vancouver before I came here and things seemed pretty normal. Very little masking either there or up in Northern B.C. where I am now. And COVID isn't a topic that really comes up all that much... it's like it never happened, which is a whole galaxy of fucked up.
Really what I wanted to do with this piece is to start a conversation about some of these things.
I still have bad feelings about it all but I'm not angry anymore. I think that the nature of anger is to subside with time... it took years but I'm not really angry at people for going along with the COVID insanity anymore... take that for what you will.
I think it is interesting. Anger is not a good emotion to have and personally I have become less outraged at the turn of events.
However, my worry is that unless we get to some form of acknowledgement and accountability this all could happen again. The more people understand the stupidity and futility of the measures taken, and the unethical behaviour of the powers that be, the more chance we have to stop any future repeat.
At the moment we have a Covid-Inquiry in the U.K., costing well cover £130,000 per day. It is a farce with people not being able to ask the questions that need to be asked. Appears to end up as a whitewash.
I think overall more people are aware and if this was repeated again people would be less fragmented and better organised in their opposition.
My take: the issues are multiple with the main issue being the non-asking of the real questions. The questions asked are soft, leading questions and there is no option to dig deeper into the subject as follow-up questions are generally not allowed.
P.S. Professor Carl Heneghan was called as an expert witness (I think it was October 2023) and he was very poorly treated by the Inquiry smearing his qualifications and the type of questions asked. He has been very critical of the role of Public Health especially dirong Covid. The comparison with the other witnesses who towed the party line was startling and clear to anyone who cared to look.
" I was right that there was no new deadly disease called COVID. I was right that masks did nothing to prevent people from getting sick. I was right that the jabs were completely unnecessary, and provided no health benefits whatsoever. I was right that they were risky, and that it was complete folly to trust Big Pharma’s mysterious serum under the circumstances.
I was right that COVID was being used to run cover for a massive transfer of wealth from the people to the world’s richest
people."
So obviously, you were right and not wrong about COVID. 😷 😁
Btw, just because you personally don't know someone who suffered adverse effects from the mRNA experimental gene therapy doesn't mean there weren't untold numbers of victims. What was particularly disgusting is the millions who were deliberately misdiagnosed and labeled COVID deaths to secure government bonuses. Not to mention, the scam PCR tests used to inflate cases for the purpose of terrifying the witless public.
Nonetheless, nobody was held responsible for the millions of lives devastated by a demented psyops generated from Rockefeller's 2010 "Operation Lockstep."
That being said, what we did witness was how successful ruling elite ghouls were at working in tandem on every continent, especially in China testing the latest social engineering project while simultaneously absconding with trillions.
What I do find extremely disconcerting is that many of those who opposed the official COVID narrative morphed into Zionists. Who would've seen that coming, especially since Israel acted as pincushions for Pfizer.
Btw, notice how no one mentions Albert Bourla, Fauci, or Deborah Birx the physician who served as the White House Coronavirus Response Coordinator. None of these criminals will ever be held accountable. Mainstream media news along with all the phony baloney independent journalists once again remain unscathed and brazenly continue to propagandize the public with all the latest security state garbage.
After the apex of every bizarro crisis things always seem to appear normal, however, on closer inspection it becomes clear the culture as shifted further politically to the "Right." After all, didn't Mark Carney a WEF ghoul banker recently become Prime Minister of Canada.😁 And isn't the Orange Fart Coin's administration inundated with globalist techno/fascists--including Scott Bessent the Treasury Secretary who formerly was a partner at Soros Fund Management (SFM). 😆🤑🤑
well said... it truly boggles the mind that the world has already moved on from such a massive crime against humanity... but it pales in comparison to what's going on in Gaza now... There's no comparison between being put on house arrest and having your family murdered.
Maybe that's part of the reason people have moved on...
Both Ukraine and Gaza are two grisly displays further indicating the Global Mafia's utter disregard for humanity and is providing a constant trainwreck “overtly” shown on social media platforms. It should be stressed, that the way it's being reported by MSM is for all intents and purposes another psyops. It also seems, as if the Empire wants the proles to see their barbaric handiwork.
Genocidal wars, economic disasters, environmental crises and scamdemics are all manufactured by the Empire's Global Mafia--an international syndicate comprised of trillion dollar asset management firms, intelligence agencies, and mobsters.
Maybe, I shouldn't have been surprised that Zionists were among those opposing the COVID official narrative and supporting MAHA.
Nonetheless, I'm convinced “many millions” were deliberately murdered by the “scamdemic psyops.” These deaths resulted from: lockdowns, experimental gene therapy injections, insane protocols, misuse of ventilators, abusive nursing home practices, wide spread poverty triggering mass starvation and suicide.
But then again, life goes on just like after every other ghoulish planned disaster, as the plebs have been relentlessly trained to possess the retention of a flea.😵💫
I'm convinced the ghouls want the plebs to see the horror. If they didn't want social platforms to post those horrific video clips it would be censored in the same way videos were blocked during COVID when many credible and popular YouTuber's disappeared.
So obviously, the pyschopaths want to terrify and shock populations like Mexican ganglords or ISIS mercenaries do when they cut off heads and impale them to wooden stakes.
Connected? It's designed to disorient and frighten large portions of the “still” sensitive segments of humanity. The one's who have been made catatonic by MSM are in their own world and not effected by this madness. The name of the game is “control.” That's usually the reason for “psyoping” a population.
If you truly understand there's a Global Mafia then it becomes very clear that money and power "transcends" religion, race, or nationality. These avarice monsters will manipulate populations and delight in watching them kill each other while they secure billions in profit. Proxies are considered useful idiots.
Not all injections were made equal. Why is this a concept so hard to grasp? Did bully gates get injected? Did obama? And so forth. Do you think they got injected with the same stuff that the masses did? Do you think the real perpetrators didn't experiment with different concoctions and spare THEIR OWN?
As they were blasting Gaza with 2,000 lb. bombs obliterating hospitals, they offered the Palestinian children polio vaccines as a way for the creepo pharmaceutical companies to make a few extra bucks. 🙄
The scamdemic transferred trillions to billionaires. One of the schemes was to turn the mRNA jabs into a “Medical IMF.” It was another shakedown program. Who were they going to shakedown down in Gaza?
I have no space for the victim mentality crowd. Driven by fear? Nope. If they were victims of anything it was their own laziness and ignorance. In the age of information ignorance is a choice. We tried to warn them. They stubbornly REFUSED to listen. If they want any compassion from me they need to admit they were wrong and beg for forgiveness and most importantly vow to insist on transparency and follow the REAL science and refuse to cave into manipulation forever more.
I'm with you in sentiment... but there is still no consensus in the truth movement about what the real science is. Personally, I think there is no evidence for the existence of viruses, but this is not a majority position.
I don't think science can be our guide when it comes to navigating the world. Attempting to follow the science makes us susceptible to the cult of the expert.
I think we need to respect the sovereignty of the individual. People should have respected the decision of people not to wear masks on that basis IMHO.
I would like to forgive my parents for how they treated me during covid. A simple sorry and we could get past it but their attitude is basically suck shit son. We did nothing wrong. What can you do.
Well... I got evicted from where I was living because I was not jabbed so I had to lodge with them and they decided to do the same thing. I was homeless after that. Well over people by then I went and lived in the forest for a few months.
Well … it seems like a distant memory. I had rented a room near the university I was studying at and the landlord had an elderly father that he visited periodically. He was in an old persons home. Get this, the landlord didn’t like the fact that I was unvaccinated because it might be a risk to his ailing father - who I had no direct contact with. Anyway so I had to leave there. I couldn’t go on campus anyway on accounts of being unjabbed, so I stayed with my parents. They have a large comfortable home but my father, and I quote said “what’s this I hear about you not being vaccinated? You need to have three jabs to be part of this society.” I said that wasn’t going to happen so he asked me to leave. He also said that I’d be sorry when I was in hospital “gasping to breathe”. I just laughed. I had nowhere to go and was pretty much over people being unkind to me by this point so I went and camped near a town called Walpole in Western Australia - look it up. It is lovely down there. This all happened to me even before they started the lockdowns and relegating the unvaccinated to the fringe. In Western Australia the unjabbed were not allowed to go into any place except food stores - no gyms, no bars, no movies, no bottle shops (for a short while). So yeah it was pretty brutal. My mother and father still don’t think they did anything wrong. So yeah … fuck em.
I read your substack and had to put it away and reflect on, but feel compelled to weigh in on. While I admire your capacity to let go and carry on, my feelings are quite different. COVID was such a pivotal point in time that has irrevocably changed how I look at the world and the people around me. The derision, the disregard for people with different views, the turning on friends and family was something I would never have believed could happen in our so called “civilized” society. I have forever been changed by this. I will NEVER trust the media, politicians, the medical system, the pharmaceutical industry, law enforcement. I will NEVER forget what happened and I fully believe that, should another “pandemic” type incident happen again, people will jump on that bandwagon faster and with practiced intent, and feel quite good about it. I am jaded and only trust those who stood up against that tyranny. I feel like there is a population subset of us who walk amongst you but are living in a very quiet parallel society in terms of how we look at things and how we proceed with our lives. I personally know far too many people who have died “suddenly and unexpectedly” or are suffering with health conditions that have the medical system “baffled”. We cannot let what happened be forgotten or swept under the rug or be shrugged off. This was a crime against humanity that had many participants who benefited from it.
And I believe your experience of leaving the country and going to a place which wasn’t under such authoritarian practices was quite different to those who stayed and had to live through the insanity here. You came back after things relaxed. Canada was quite horrible to those who chose not to get vaxxed and tried to work and live here.
I don't mean to shrug it off... I just don't think that I can handle living the rest of my life with a COVID-sized chip on my shoulder... but I hear you...
Have your feelings changed over time and remains mostly static since 2021-2022?
If anything, I am angrier. We were lied to about so many things. We have learned how the Covid “rules” applied basically to us and not the ones making and imposing the rules. We have learned who would turn us into the authorities and feel good about themselves. I look at people differently and don’t trust. My relationship with friends and family whose views were not the same has changed. The authority figures I never questioned before I won’t trust again. My eyes have been opened to how corrupt the systems around us are. It continues to be difficult. I only really feel comfortable around like minded people. I want to see accountability and I want people to acknowledge that things went horribly wrong and I want people to stand together and say that they will never let themselves be manipulated by our government and the media. I don’t see it as a chip on my shoulder. This was the most serious, intentional wrongdoing we could ever go through. People wanted us segregated and hoped we would die. I will never forgive nor forget.
Thank you for this strong piece of writing. It really reflects my thinking. There is one area I disagree with. Things have not got back to normal (I am in the U.K.).
There has been a profound shift in the relationship between the State and the people, between employers and employees and between people in general. Respect, trust and tolerance are decreasing. This is also visible within the rest of Europe.
Freedom of speech is under threat.
Democracy is under threat with the political class ignoring large swathes of the population.
I am not saying some of this was not already happening pre-Covid, but it certainly has accelerated these issues.
Agreed... I'm not saying that things aren't worse than they were before COVID... they definitely are. It's just that it hasn't turned into the sci-fi technocratic nightmareland fantasy of my more paranoid moments.
With the Greatest Generation (my grandparents) gone and most of the Silent Generation (my parents) very old or passing away too we have no wise adults that have experienced hardship. Most Boomers, Gen Xers and Millennials (including me as a Gen Xer) have had easy comfortable lives.
The hysteria churn keeps going on from climate change to Covid to mass graves to Trump. What is the next hysteria?
I can think of 15 people in my circles who have either dropped dead or ended up with turbo cancer. And I can probably name another 60-70 people who have had various injuries or never ending illness after getting it. I struggle not to sigh when I head yet another story of death or debilitating lines as people are now up to their eighth, ninth, tenth shots.
When I saw your meme, I read into it more emotion than morality. Yes there’s the cheeky humour of “I’m happy and I know it” and poking fun at a system that has been so NOT fun for anyone…because what else can you do when it feels dark.
But I personally also feel sadness when I see your meme, because I DO know lots of people who suffered and continue to suffer, and part of me is hugely glad and grateful I didn’t; and part of me has overwhelming grief for those who did and are suffering. And what’s even sadder is that they STILL don’t regret it - because they still haven’t clocked it.
Your bigger piece about reflecting back on last 5 years…makes me think that even though everything looks normal and it’s like “covid is over”, it’s not normal. We weren’t heard then, and we aren’t heard now. So we keep writing the same thing over and over and over. We have had a huge number of distractions - Australian bushfires in January 2020 (remember all the koalas dying and the sky was so lit up with the fire it could be seen from New Zealand??), then COVID, then BLM, then US getting out of Afghanistan, then Ukraine, then Palestine…Same propaganda, different issue. The reason it doesn’t feel quite over is because it isn’t, not really.
Yes you got a lot of things wrong and may have overreacted…but tyranny didn’t stop completely. It just shifted locus. You fled Canada; but people later fled Afghanistan, Palestine. People in non western countries have been fleeing for a while. But we tend to forget about them when things have settled down in our western countries. Suddenly the whole world including the west got a taster of the shock doctrine we have been inflicting on all the other countries for decades. And it wasn’t fun.
Great comment. Yeah, I think I've been lucky. I don't know anyone who died of "COVID", and I don't know anyone who has died from the shots either. I definitely believe that many people have died of heart conditions and other things due to them, and I don't mean to sweep this giant crime against humanity under the rug.
As to things not being normal now... speaking for myself, I've realized that the propaganda matrix is much more expansive than I thought... and that I was basically living in a world of illusions before... I believed in plenty of fake science, fake history, etc.
So things maybe felt normal before because they were what I was used to. But in a certain sense I feel like I've my skin. I made an intention to completely audit my belief system and to discard any beliefs that were unsupported by solid reasoning. I'm still weeding that garden. It is liberating, ultimately. But it's a lot of work.
I mean, I can only speak for myself but I get a bit tired of being constantly expected to be the bigger person. I'm only willing to do that when I'm the only adult, surrounded by children. We all had access to the same information and I didn't see many people standing up for my right to refuse to take the vaccine. On the contrary, what I saw was people saying that I should, at the very least be denied medical care and ideally, be stuck in a concentration camp. I couldn't be fired because I am self employed.
Frankly, that message landed for me like that woman who wrote an article saying "mistakes were made". The lack of acknowledgement of the shit we had to endure, alongside the same fear, because at that point, we didn't "know" anything for sure, we were really just taking our best guess with the information we had at the time, is annoying.
I'm not into blaming and shaming and I recognise that the tactic of "divide and rule" is in overdrive so I am one hundred percent behind behind building bridges. If all you post is stuff that boils down to "I was right and you were wrong", then yes, you did need a heads up and good for him for giving it to you. If not, and you are already doing reconnection work as best you can then,"suck it up, buttercup" would be more appropriate imo.
We must avoid falling into what Pema Chodron calls the "idiot compassion" trap. It's all very well empathising with people, but alongside, we must insist that people take ownership of their actions. If you didn't speak up for my rights, it won't necessarily stop me from trying to build bridges but you are gonna have to deal with my occasional snipey post that isn't aimed at you personally.
People’s gift of personal responsibility has been usurped by a designed system posing as education. Even my children who bypassed the first twelve grades of “education” have fallen into the disastrous present example of parenting I used to believe in leading by example but in this new electronic age the pulsing light is a total distraction. Humanity needs to fight fire with fire. Amplification of the beneficial positive vibrations that encourage positivity, imagination and individualism. Who among the youth can devise such a creation without the obscene amount of money being used by the terrified criminals “in charge”. Perhaps even the criminals could enjoy a few last years in their present incarnation. All of the above is just idle musings of an old man and I take full responsibility for the content. Health!
I greatly appreciate this piece. I'll confess that the pandemic didn't faze me much. I'm anti-social, and my day-to-activities changed in some ways but it was minor. The mask thing is the only bit that bothered me much.
I did no research about the vaccine and had never heard of "mRNA" shots previously. I don't exactly treat my body like a temple, so I went ahead and got the shot without much thought. I've felt no ill effects and don't know anyone who has. I'm now slightly more educated and would not get the shot if given the chance to do it over again, but whatever, I'm not dwelling on it.
But I really think the main lasting impact of the pandemic era has been a rise in self-righteousness. People kind of sorted into various camps defined by certain opinions, dug in their heels, and became increasingly adamant about being right. About everything. Which is fucking idiotic.
I mean no offense. But really it's a corrosive, destructive impulse. And most people by now appear to be imprisoned in the camp they chose long ago. Which I find sad and frustrating to observe.
Every one of us should be able to point to some things we got right as well as some things we got wrong. And learn from it and move on. That goes for the pandemic era and for every other era of our lives.
We're all just doing the best we can and trying to navigate a bunch of different challenges all the time. Humility, compassion, a willingness to help others, a willingness to admit mistakes and learn from them. These are characteristics I strive for, and look for in others. And I appreciate that those things come through in this essay. Respect.
By all signs the Pandemic theme is not over. Most countries puppet leaders are lock step signed on to the WHO Pandemic Treaty 2025, MAID in Canada is adding children, mental health and handicapped as targets for disposal or potential organ donations?, rumours of another Event 201 exercise in the Fall of 2025, New BC Acts restricting physicians, lawyers and the public at large, Vaccine jabs 80 + still mandatory for Canadian Children (before 18 yrs old), COVID jabs for children still policy and I could go on.
You are correct that we have to build bridges with those who have been tainted in some way by C-19 injections but the damage is physical, mental and spiritual.
Some videos that touch on this and more...

Fully agree, apart from the statement that any future fear campaign will be easier. I think it will be more difficult to fool people again?

Wow, you jumped to "everyone that's against Israel wants to kill all Jews" extremely quickly.
I'd like to invite you to consider the possibility that you have seen through the "Palestine propaganda".
Opposing the brutality of the IDF is not a dogwhistle for "Heil Hitler"!
Not all injections were made equal. Why is this a concept so hard to grasp? Did bully gates get injected? Did obama? And so forth. Do you think they got injected with the same stuff that the masses did? Do you think the real perpetrators didn't experiment with different concoctions and spare THEIR OWN?
You know precisely why and I do as well. But I am.not going to entertain the likes of you. Fuck you!
What part of fuck you! can't you understand. I know who you are and you are nothing more than scum. And now, fuck you again!
I thought they did jab the Gazans. Is there something I'm missing?
As they were blasting Gaza with 2,000 lb. bombs obliterating hospitals, they offered the Palestinian children polio vaccines as a way for the creepo pharmaceutical companies to make a few extra bucks. 🙄
The scamdemic transferred trillions to billionaires. One of the schemes was to turn the mRNA jabs into a “Medical IMF.” It was another shakedown program. Who were they going to shakedown down in Gaza?
Who told you everyone got injected with the same shit?
How did they treat you during COVID?
Well... I got evicted from where I was living because I was not jabbed so I had to lodge with them and they decided to do the same thing. I was homeless after that. Well over people by then I went and lived in the forest for a few months.
Wow. That's brutal. That really puts thing in perspective. My family would never ever treat me like that in a thousand years. Who does that?
Tell your folks to go fuck themselves for me, will you?
I just told my friends about your story and they want more details. Were you paying rent at the place you were evicted from? Please elaborate.
That's such an extreme story... kicked out by your folks into the street... What is the world coming to?
Wow. I'm so sorry you went through that, mate. That is absolutely horrible. My heart goes out to you.
My ex was in WA... I think the pressure to get jabbed was especially brutal in Australia.
It's just that it hasn't turned into the sci-fi technocratic nightmareland fantasy of my more paranoid moments.
hey, I'm an optimist!
Love my country but Canada is weak ass.
I don't know, but hopefully as Nevermore gets more popular we can do our part to cut through the fear hype!
Yes, I know several people maimed and killed by the COVID “vaccine.” Never relax, they are still planning on doing it again.
Canada is owned by the British Crown, Canadians are feudal serfs ruled over by a banker.
But hey. It's not so bad.
You can walk around, drive your car, talk to friends to family, vote. It's not so bad.
and smoke weed! don't forget about the weed!

Respect.
Why would you write a post-mortem on an op that is still live? Please don’t. That would be a real waste of your and everyone’s time.
You guys are way too polite.
