Perhaps modern women have narrowed hips because of a lack of fat soluble vitamin A and D that Eskimo women got plenty of. Same as narrowed cheeks and jaws and crowded teeth courtesy of the modern diet.
Good read, lots of great questions, few answers. If I can think of a defense for Darwin, it would have to be our own poor perspective of deep time, that and the phenomenal rate of reproduction in many species.
Developing the first living cell capable of reproduction through natural processes defies the mathematical odds.
UNLESS you expand the playing field to the entire universe and accept that it could have developed naturally almost anywhere and found its way here like seeds blown from the wind.
I'm sure I (and probably a lot of others too, not to blow my own bassoon here) came up with the obvious, common-sense 'cooperation is more beneficial to survival than competition' (Sarah Hrdy) principle way before 2020. It's just so obvious, although ironically a feminist like me might say it's more obvious to a woman (winky provocative eye). (btw, I've had so much on my plate lately I simply haven't had time to do that sexy article - I will get round to it sometime though).
The premature babies thing is rubbish, of course. Having a longer pre-pubescent development period is not the same as prematurity. Also, evolutionary adaptations happen concurrently, not consecutively - thus, as hips narrowed, increasing ligament elasticity during pregnancy increased, thus cancelling out the problem.
This, interestingly, relates to what I was mentioning in one of your other recent articles about 'cascades' of genetic alterations, all related to particular functions or organs or whatever. This chimes in with the idea of 'master genes' (I couldn't remember that one at the time). With increased complexity evolution itself changes and adapts to become more efficient in its mutations, thus reducing the error rate. Given how many millions (hundreds of them) of years of simple bacteria, mutating at a ridiculous exponential rate, this efficiency problem was probably solved on that simpler level by the time the Pre-Cambrian explosion happened.
Having said that... I am firmly of the opinion that there is/are intelligence(s) interfering with natural evolution - I am of the 'it's not one or the other, but both' school (not sure I've ever come across a fellow traveller in that regard).
1/ the chance of an ELE (extinction level event) asteroid strike on this planet is roughly 1 in 50 million. That means there should've been around 12 in the previous 600 million years. There's only been 1. That tells me about something called 'intervention'.
2/ Our nearest neighbour star system, including the star Alpha Centauri, which is the same type of star as ours, is, ever so coolly, about 5-600 million years older than ours.
I think it's quite easy to put those two juicy little factoids together and make suggestions about other intelligences influencing the evolution of life on this lovely planet. Clearly, Danuih didn't have any objections. I think she would have rather appreciated the love and attention. I know I would've.
Considering the almost unfathomable complexity of DNA and the millions of years it took Nature to get us there, what is your opinion of the current mass-vaccination of people with untested, warp-speed, modifiedRNA shots ??? 🤔🤔🤔🤔
good question! Do you mean how exactly cells read fake "RNA"? To be honest, I haven't figured that out. I think I would have to figure out biology first... then move on to microbiology... then sort out the true from the false so far as DNA is concerned... but that's a a big job... there's no way science can be right about DNA... it's supposedly "just a chemical" but it is indispensable to life... and it makes no sense that the source of all life could be inert... to my mind anyway.
The greedy, conceited, power-hungry crackpots inserted pseudo uridine into the formula to prevent the immune-system destroying the package's content right away. This leads to frame-shifting which means the produced proteins fold in a way that is off-target; leading to various ... because neither immune-system nor the metabolism can cope with this entirely artificial compound.

"According to one theory, painful childbirth was a result of bipedalism."
Ive read Eskimo women didnt have pain in childbirth before modern times. Guess that makes them late evolving tripeds!

well one of the most plausible theories for the origin of life on earth is that spores came here on an asteroid.
Yes, spores can survive in outer space. It's mind-blowing. Almost like the Earth is an ovum.

The intelligences in question are both terrestrial (Danuih, the planetary intelligence herself) and Extraterrestrial. I have two curious facts for you here, which I wrote about in this recent article: https://inadifferentplace.substack.com/p/welcome-to-dexos-part-iv?r=2s9hod

Finally, about innate intelligence in our animal cousins - I was reading the following article the other day, which I know you will love: https://theconversation.com/animals-self-medicate-with-plants-behavior-people-have-observed-and-emulated-for-millennia-229768?utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=The%20Weekend%20Conversation%20-%202980730319&utm_content=The%20Weekend%20Conversation%20-%202980730319+CID_39c1a8e7af33f1eb83ac821323dac9b7&utm_source=campaign_monitor_uk&utm_term=Animals%20self-medicate%20with%20plants%20%20behavior%20people%20have%20observed%20and%20emulated%20for%20millennia
Thanks for this elucidating post !!!👍👍👍👍
