The Dumpster Fire of Electoral Politics

Hey Everyone,

It is with great pleasure that I am able to report that I have been very successful in ignoring this year´s upcoming U.S. midterm elections. This is no doubt due partly to the fact that I now live in Mexico and ignore the mainstream media more than I ever did previously.

Even in alternative media, though, the upcoming elections seem to be getting little play. Presumably, the Democrats will get their asses whooped, and the COVID narrative will fade more and more into the background.

But who knows? It´s not like I have any confidence in the U.S. electoral system. Frank Zappa said it best:

That said, it seems worth commenting on, because many of the people who are sick to death of the COVID scamdemic will gladly welcome the changing of the guards. And given the fact that I left my home country to escape the sickening trend of woke fascism, I definitely get it.

All I want to say is that anyone who thinks that things will improve when the Republicans gain more power would do well to remember that the Republicans tend to represent the interests of the arms industry and the military-industrial complex, not to mention Big Oil.

That means that once the Republicans take control again, it means war is more likely. And given the fact that World War III now seems a very real possibility (if it has not already begun), that should give us cause to temper our expectations.

The system is rotten to the core, and cannot be reformed by politicians. The upcoming shuffle of certain government employees will not bring about meaningful change. So, by all means, vote if it makes you feel better. But please don´t fool yourself into believing that your vote will make any difference. And if you are just looking for a way to feel better about yourself, might I suggest an alternative to voting?

Here´s what I suggest - Stretch out your arms, cross your fingers, start spinning in a circle, and chant ¨I believe in fairies¨ over and over again until you fall down.

It will accomplish every bit as much as voting, take less time, and if you have kids, it might make them laugh.

Stop waiting for political saviours. No one is coming to save us. We´ve got to save ourselves.

We are the ones that we´ve been waiting for.
