It took me a long time to feel comfortable sharing personal writing, but it feels like a way to be honest in what I'm doing - trying to make sense of very confusing times. Political writing tends to be more declarative and I want to give myself leeway to throw out random thoughts without pretending like I've got it all figured out. If I have anything to share with the world, it's probably optimism. The world is a beautiful place, full of adventures to be had, in good times and bad.
