Love the story of Sketchy the Clown. He was onto something...yo. Speaking of techno-fascism, seems to me they are the ones taking over the world, with our witting imprimatur because we are all addicted to their means of control/production. A line from my book The F.U. KiD keeps coming back in all these kinds of "what's to be done" conversations we're all having. "The real revolution begins when 1 billion people take 1 billion hammers and simultaneously smash 1 billion phones." The giant sucking sound you'll be hearing then is power returning to the people.

Read “Ishmael” by Daniel Quinn. We’re subconsciously acting out a story that’s about 10,000 years old and inevitably leads to destruction.

I read that one when I was 13 or 14, but I plan to re-read it.

Did you know that Ted Turner basically commissioned that book, by the way? Not quite sure how to feel about that!

Thank your for your interesting post !!!

Presume, that witnessing or even participating in a sun dance in Chiapas is quite mind-refreshing ...

Amish, Mennonites, many a forest- and savanna-folks are DE-centralized communities, detached from false "progress" by default. (progress here means highly complex, technologically interdependent, highly hierarchical societal structures with "deadly" division of labor and ensuing exploitation)

Western (and most Eastern) mass-societies turned out to be a bunch of 24/7/365 gullible idiots, idolizing endless consumption, kept in the financial hamster-wheel and being told that it is a career-ladder, incessantly praying to their $$$-Lord where every, even the most basic human interaction is based on a preceding RoI (return on investment) monetary calculation.

Mushrooms; kept in the dark and fed bullshit ... DE-monetize the governments !!

Monotheistic religion is the Mother of all sins, inevitably leading to self-exaltation (see Gaza ...), scorn, hatred, wars and endless pain/suffering of the "other" masses. Highly profitable for the chosen ones ...

Any societal construct counting far more than the Dunbar's Number is poised to crumble in the long run.

Current technological progress benefits the elites only, giving rise to ever more powerful control-, surveillance- and oppression mechanisms to coerce and oppress the plebes.

Humanity will never ever grasp the origins of the Universe, neither its purpose. (Ought really everything have a purpose ?? why??)

Discussing creationism vs. evolutionism is futile; it's like discussing religion, politics or taste. All we currently know is, that we are just a little part of a carbon-based life form on this "pale blue dot" swirling around a sun that is just another tiny little dot swirling around a minor galaxy in the vastness of the universe. On this planet, basic amino-acids can form in primordial soup, maybe pushed by some stardust ... so what ?

Enjoy the day or as the Romans said: carpe diem !!

But NEVER forget to keep "them" FULLY accountable for any evil-doing !!

Here sits the flaw of current mass-societal systems ...

Hear, hear! I like the way you think.

I suppose I have a sense that we, as a species, are capable of more than we tend to think that we are.

If we are stuck, I have a feeling that that it's because of a kind of cultural mental block.

If people believe disempowering things about themselves (I'm stupid, ugly, unloveable, cursed, etc), they can often turn those beliefs into self-fulfilling prophecies. I personally suspect the statists have hijacked mythology (through the MSM & academia) in order to keep people in their place.

One of the ways in Canada that people are trying to take back our community and resources is by confronting the fraud at the Mayor/Council level. The short version is:

A) Notice to Admit fraud, itemized. 30 days to respond

B)Notice to Direction on our behalf.

C) Letter, wishes of constituents are going to reject the corporate contract and move on to a co-op type contract. Those who have not admitted to fraud will be removed and an interim group by constituents will be formed to keep the resources and control in the people's hands.

The old or new mayor will remove the CAO (Corporate Admin Officer) which is the tie in to WEF types up the chain.

A group will be formed to run admin and a legal format of trials by members of the community will be put in place. The main function is to control the community assets, do no harm, no masters, judged by your peers, co-op vs corporation. A simplified explanation...

The Chinese ideogram for "crisis" is composed of the ideogram for danger and the ideogram for opportunity. A crisis is both of these things at the same time. Doug Casey wrote about these ideas in his Crisis Investing books.

It's also true that the Chinese ideogram for "trouble" shows two women under one roof. 🤪

Your description of the ideas of Christendom is pretty good. God loves us and wants us to be happy. So God sent His son to purchase for us the rewards of eternal salvation. Jesus came to us through Mother Mary who helps us to be worthy of the promises of Christ.

Now we are preparing for the wedding feast of the Lamb. These are not the end times. Rather, we are being tested to see if we are worthy of the wedding. The thing about being tested is you should pass the test. Otherwise you have to take the test again.

Well the Bible makes clear sin is the problem... and though sinful people do not always live out their son to the extreme it still affects everyone and everything...

Oil is a renewable resource. Pipelines are more efficient, cleaner and safer then trucks and trains. Canada has an incrediable amount of space, water and natural resources. Education (and human pursuits) should move away from ideology and toward practicality: away from RnD and into implementation. Localizing production makes for a more empathetic, resilient, adaptable and strong society. Tourism is the biggest threat to corporate dominance. The markets are available to everyone. Buy low and sell high. Government debt drives up the cost of living. Inflation is because the government does not have incentive to stop spending. War gives the most number of people good profits. Until we eliminate war and weapons manufacturing WORLDWIDE we will never be safe. If everyone was like Jesus we would have a bad economy. If the economy collapses, zombie stories will become real. Never underestimate how lazy people will be when given the opportunity.

I hear you! I'm an optimist and I like to put a positive spin on things, but the things you talk about have not escaped my notice!

I do think that some kind of cultural regeneration is coming, but that the dominant order has to fail a bit more than it is now in order for people to really separate themselves from the system.

I'm glad you found your way here!

I suppose Clarissa Pinkola Estes belongs on my reading list too. Thanks for the reminder. Haven't gotten around to reading her yet.

Joseph Campbell is a major inspiration. I feel like that the world needs a rebirth of the Heroic, and this is connected in with the World-Story idea.

Really, no revolution stands a chance of success without people willing to do heroic things. But in Canada, where I'm from, there is a major taboo against doing anything heroic, and the whole concept of heroism is viewed with suspicion.

Personally, I think that this is a problem. The world needs heroes, and history is full of examples of people who really did do heroic things. People are too cynical if they don't believe that heroes are real.
