After reading your previous blog and now this one, I became so wrapped up in this story that I had to order the book. 👏👏👏

Indeed - this is a totally riveting story. You would also like this: https://www.docdroid.net/riM594s/david-mcgowan-programmed-to-kill-pdf which is equally well written.

Although a bit like this Pickton case, you kind of need a very strong stomach.

I'll have to check it out. I got this book and it's hard to put down. Whenever I read about these type of investigations, I wonder if people are born evil. I'm always interested in the back story of these killers and if evil is inherited.

I know what you mean. Is evil innate or is it made (the old nature/nurture thing). Of course we should remember it doesn't have to be an either/or - some people may well be born evil, whilst others may have it thrust upon them.

I am of the opinion that whilst there are indeed some monsters (let's say 1% of the population) who inherit it (a different humanoid species, which may look human but whose brains are wired differently - they've learned to survive by blending in/mimicry, plus conspiring towards world domination - the idea that the 'grand conspiracy' is just a minority group survival strategy), there are indeed others who are made evil.

The latter is kind of the subject of McGowan's book. I think some evil is 'epigenetically' made (which can start in the womb). The other kind is a product of serious childhood trauma combined with Mk-Ultra style brainwashing/programming (like the Phoenix program in Vietnam, which McGowan writes a lot about). It's a fascinating psychological study, amongst other things, and very shocking.

These are many of my same thoughts I also have about the evil people inflict upon others. The proof is in our leaders.
