Crow,

The historical part of the Rickards excerpt was *interesting*, but I have to say that I don't trust this guy one bit.

Once I *accidentally* got on his mailing list and he was impossible to get rid of. My suspicion is that he is running a scam.

"He seems mostly to stoke and then prey on people's fears, likely to his financial advantage," says one commenter, and that is exactly my impression of what he is about.

Besides, the way in which he presents the Tibet issue and the Tianamen Square massacre follows Western propaganda narratives and leaves out essential background, as usual.

Thanks for the information... I did warn people he is not to be fully trusted! I thought this chapter held to scrutiny, though.... Can you point to any errors or fallacies in it?

Well, like I said, he’s pushing Western propaganda points about Tianamen Square and Tibet, which is not so much a matter of error as omission. If this is true he may be omitting other things as well. For example, there may have been more behind the Taiping Rebellion than he is letting on. I’m not an expert in Chinese history, so I couldn’t say for sure.

"The 14-year civil war as a whole coincided with internal and external conflicts of the Opium Wars and the future Boxer Rebellion to further weaken the Qing dynasty’s grasp on central China."

(Wikipedia on the Taiping Rebellion)

This suggest to me that there may have been Rothschild banking interests involved in instigating the TR.

"The government officials of the Western powers were optimistic about the Taiping government's chance of victory in the early stages.[88] According to historian Eugene P. Boardman, the Qing dynasty's enforcement of the treaty of 1842–1844 was frustrating US and British officials, especially in terms of open trade.[88] According to Boardman the Christian nature of the Taiping opened up the possibility for a more cooperative trade partnership. Many Western officials visited the capital of Taiping between 1863 and 1864, and American commissioner Robert Milligan McLane considered granting official recognition of the Taiping government."

Notably, the Taiping Rebellion had Triad associations and began in 1851, just three years after Rothschild-Illuminati-Freemason-associated communist revolutions were instigated across Europe:

"1848: "The Year of Revolution" - The First Wave

Only a few months after the founding of the Communist Party, revolutions

began to "break out" in various countries. 1848 became the great year of

revolutions. The Rothschild family was in charge of the financial side and

the League of Communists of the planning. The Rothschilds had become

enormously wealthy in connection with the French Revolution (1789-

1799) when empires and kingdoms needed to borrow money in amounts

previously unparalleled. The Rothschilds had Europe's best information

system with their own couriers, who always managed to bring them

decisive news (e.g. the outcome of the battle of Waterloo) before the

rulers got wind of it, according to Derek Wilson, "The Rothschild

Family". In 1847, Lionel Rothschild had become the first Jewish Member

of the British Parliament.

The former Prussian officer August Willich was made the leader of the

terrorists. He later became a general for the Union in the American Civil

War, where he became infamous for the incredible atrocities he

committed. The League of Communists had 400 members by this time,

according to the Soviet-Estonian Encyclopaedia. Forty-odd Scandinavians

also took part.

"Revolutions" were started in half of Europe, mostly by Jewish

Illuminati or by their henchmen. It all began when an invisible hand

utilised the occasion of the poor crop harvest in 1846. Grain was suddenly

bought up in large amounts. During the years 1847-1848, the prices were

doubled and tripled as foodstuffs were sent out from secret storehouses.

People starved and eventually the time was ripe for bloody revolts. The

buyer of all the grain was the Jewish businessman Ephrasi who acted as a

front for James Rothschild."

One of the few researchers showing Ehret as the Ah Rat he Authoritarianly is, as one of the Trio of Tyranny Lovers (Matthew Ehret, Cynthia Chung, Jeff Brown) I am about to OUT as THE CCP Promoter on my substack post coming soon.
