The porn sites/sissy porn isn't the cause, but rather another symptom. The problem is laws/cultural changes that disrupt the family unit, thus causing gender identity issues. Consider that children rationalize gender role assignment through specific processes requiring both sexes in a family/home setting, and starting at a very young age(ref; Oedipus Conflict and Electra Complex).
Either society and/or parents accommodate their development or risk altering their perception of all things gender related. When children are unable to work things out for lack of role models or family setting, they get confused on a deeply subconscious level. When society at large reinforces it, you end up with a public mental health crisis.

I guess it depends what you mean by the word gay... the "gay" type of homosexuality is one of four distinct types of homosexuality in the anthropological literature. By this definition, the ancient Greeks weren't "gay" despite all the homosexuality. But I'm using the word in a specialized way. If "gay" means "a man who has sex with men", that's very different from "a man who is sexually attracted to men".
