Nevermore’s Tobin Owl has done us all a favour and settled things once and for all - the moon landing was faked.
If you didn’t know, Tobin is a core member of the Nevermore team who specializes in deep dives on controversial subjects. He goes where others fear to tread.

(I am pleased to offer this space to my friend Tobin Owl. Technically, this is an op-ed, since Nevermore Media does not take a position on the existence or non-existence of viruses. At one point I tried to debate Margaret Anna Alice on this issue, and lost.

I probably should clarify that I’m talking about the American moon landing, the one you probably remember from cartoons.
By no means are we throwing shade on India’s 2023 moon landing.
That one was fershizzle tots f’realzies, according to the New York Times and the BBC. When have they ever lied to us?
If India’s Moon Landing wasn’t legit, why would this video have 5 million views?
All jokes aside, though, Tobin is making a real argument.
I do need to state that the Nevermore collective does not take a position on whether or not the moon landing was faked.
Speaking for myself, I found Tobin’s piece both highly entertaining and genuinely convincing.

I know, I know… I’m a loon, a flake, a fruitcake with my head screwed on backwards. Straight out of the nut house I am, to be sure!
Just look at the kind of things I write! I’m an avowed antivaxxer. I think communists are in cahoots with capitalists or vice versa. I call the saintly hero Lenin a brain-damaged psychopath. I believe in secret societies and banking cartels that everyone knows are just fairytales. I question the holiest of holy State of Israel’s prerogative to bomb its domestic enemies to smithereens. It’s downright antisemitic, for sure. (No double meaning there in case you thought you sniffed one). I write about things like the 500 year old Doctrine of Discovery that everybody knows bears no relation to modern day politics and corporate land grabbing. And though I haven’t written about it, I’m pretty well convinced that the Cuban missile crisis was a big hyped up government-sponsored media scare story, and the Bay of Pigs operation was planned to fail on purpose, to boot. Hell, I’ve even questioned whether Hiroshima and Nagasaki were firebombed instead of being nuked—though the jury’s still out on that one… for me anyway.
I think the climate has been changing since the 1300s… probably longer. (Duhhh!) I dismiss established unassailable Church of Science’s sacred cows like germ theory and viruses, for God’s sake! I won’t even mention all the insane things I’ve said about Covid™.
You gotta hand it to me, I’ve been hitting all the big controversial red buttons one after the other, haven’t I?
Maybe it’s all because I suffer from a chronic nervous disorder that makes me tend toward wild theories and paranoia.

But I wasn't always this way. Certainly not so doggedly so anyway. It took global 24/7 media drama and lockdowns to make me really get serious about spooking up all the rats hiding in the walls. And don’t get me wrong, I’m no tin hat Flat Earther. You gotta be kiddin’ me! I’ve flown to China and back three times with different stopovers—Manila, Taipei, Honolulu, Tokyo, Vancouver…. You can’t tell me the earth ain’t round. I don’t even give those dimskulls the time of day!
But I swear, I swear, no one ever set foot on the moon!

Now I know this is hard to take. You didn’t see this one coming. I apologize, but I had to tell you. You know… every kid eventually has to learn that Santa Claus doesn’t live in the North Pole. Give it some time to set in. You’ll get over it… someday.
I’m sure your mind must be reeling out of control with a million questions right now. To help sort out all the quandaries, I’ll throw this last one in for free for all you conspiracy nutjobs like me.
It made me sad, honestly. To think… to think the whole world has been deceived.

I don't know about Cannon AFB, but Aulis seem to believe it was filmed at Cardington studios in England (under the direction of Stanley Kubrick - who put clues/references in his films). I'm not sure they say all the six missions were filmed there though, so maybe there was some Cannon AFB stuff as well. I'd not heard that one before.
We don't even need to go with the shadows aspect - it's the simple (and probably deliberate, for whistleblowing purposes) continuity errors in the photo/video record which convince me. If they threatened Kubrick, then this would've been his way of thwarting them for future reference.
Anyway - I do find all this stuff fascinating, simply out of curiosity and a continual 'need to know'. I think the moon landings being faked is so important because if widely known it would totally shatter the myth of American exceptionalism, and the entire American public would lose all faith in their government (the rest of the world too for that matter) - and that alone would change the world forever because American foreign policy could no longer exist, meaning no 'forever wars', or NATO aggression, or cold war vs. Russia/China, and so on and so on.
So this is why they have to ridicule the whole lunar conspiracy - for other conspiracy theories they do the really aggressive 'you're a dangerous, right wing, presumably anti-semitic (we usually throw that one in for good measure), spreader of mis/disinformation so we have to shut you down and make the people fear and hate you' - for the moon landing, though, they've taken a completely different psychological approach and gone with the 'if you believe the moon landings were faked then you're a nutter, and no one wants to be seen as a nutter' - so each individual 'self-censors' - they decide not to believe it was faked for that very simple psychological reason - human beings are social animals and thus 'ostracism' - the antagonism of their social group - is indeed their greatest fear. And clearly this psychological approach works. So people dismiss this conspiracy theory out of hand.
I even admit it took me quite some time to come around to the 'it was faked' opinion. In my case it's because I grew up reading science fiction and so quite simply I wanted it to be true, because space exploration excites me so much. So once I did investigate it actually makes me seriously angry for the same reason - NASA have essentially denied humanity the joy and hope of space exploration, because they don't want people looking up at the stars in wonder for a better future, they want them crawling in the gutter, because that enables social control. And that's evil.
The same opinion applies to a lot of other claimed achievements by NASA - the Mars rovers for example, which IMO are not there. Here's a useful link: https://www.marsanomalyresearch.com/
Also notice how they never put digital pinhole cameras on any their spacecraft or planetary probes and send a livestream back to inspire people. I would sit and watch a livestream from, say, Venus, for hours and hours if I could. But they never give us that.
It's an evil crime against humanity. And I utterly despise them for it.
Maybe the West needs to technologically "curry-up" and catchup. Ironically, most of the dough being thrown into outer space are for spy satellites surveilling humans on Earth. 🔎
